The Hilltop Cottage is the smallest of Canonto Lodge's vacation cottages. Perfect for two, it has one queen-size bed in the master bedroom. The Hilltop can, however, accommodate up to four additional guests on two sofa-beds, one in the living room and one in the screened in front porch. This cozy getaway has a full bath, a good sized living and dining area and a fully furnished kitchen. The huge screened-in porch offers a superb bug-free way to enjoy the breezes and a great view of the lake. A washer and dryer are located in the laundry area for your convenience. A television (Bell Express-Vu), DVD player and VCR are provided. A library of movies (click here) is available for our guests to borrow, or bring your own. Guests supply their own personal towels; all other kitchen towels and bed linens are supplied. Starter amounts of paper products such as toilet paper and paper towels are supplied.
The entire lodge area is an internet “Hot Spot” so bring your lap-tops and PDAs if you wish to keep in touch. Norcan Lake fishing is renowned in southern Ontario so be sure to bring your fishing gear. We are pleased to offer a new grocery shopping service for our guests so that an immediate trip to nearby Calabogie for basic groceries isn't necessary.
