The Lake House is one of Canonto Lodge's most popular upscale waterfront cottages because it can accomodate up to 14 persons in 12 separate beds in its four bedrooms (1 queen, 1 double and 10 single beds). Two single beds can be arranged side by side to make up a double as may be desired. The Lake House is frequently rented by extended family groups, parties of fishermen or seminars when other units are rented simultaneously. The Lake House is heated and air conditioned for your comfort.

Features are a large kitchen and dining area. The Lake House comes fully equipped with all required cooking utensils, implements, and appliances including a full-size refrigerator, a full-size freezer, an electric stove, a dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker as well as the usual pots, pans, dishes and bake ware. There is a wood-burning stove in the living room. Bathrooms are located on each floor and have a showers or a tub/shower combination. A television (Bell Express-Vu), DVD player and VCR are provided. A washer and dryer are located on the lower floor in the laundry room. Guests supply their own personal towels; all other kitchen towels and bed linens are supplied. Starter amounts of paper products such as toilet paper and paper towels are supplied, as is a propane BBQ.

The entire lodge area is an internet “Hot Spot” so bring your lap-tops and PDAs if you wish to keep in touch. Norcan Lake fishing is renowned as one of the best bass lakes for both Smallmouth and Largemouth bass in Southern Ontario, so be sure to bring your fishing gear. The lakefront cottages offer private, relaxing, upscale cottage vacations regardless of the size of your group. Book early to ensure the vacation cottage of your choice is available.

Prime Season - June 1st - September 15th

CDN $1,800 plus taxes per week for 6 persons or less. For each additional adult add $300 plus taxes per week. For each additional child (less than 12 years) add $150 plus taxes per week. Infants under 2 years are free. The "Lake House" sleeps a maximum of 14 persons in 4 bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom has a queen-sized bed and two single beds. There are three bedrooms upstairs. One bedroom upstairs has a double bed and 2 single beds. A second bedroom has two single beds. The third upstairs bedroom has four single beds. The "Lake House" is only rented out for full weeks during the Prime Season unless otherwise arranged with management.

Off Season:

CDN $1,500 plus taxes a week for 6 persons or less.  For each additional adult add $250 plus taxes per week.  For each additional child (less than 12 years of age) add $125 plus taxes per week. Infants under 2 years are free.

Weekends, Week Days and Long Weekends: Rent will depend on the time of year; availability; long weekend or not; the number of persons in your group and the length of your stay. Generally speaking the rates will vary between $50.00 and $75.00 per adult person per night plus taxes. Rates are negotiable. A minimum rent will apply. Contact us for the rate for your group.
